Strengthening Editorial Standards at PST

Plant Science Today (PST) has completed 12 years of continuous publication and remains indexed in Scopus and Web of Science across multiple subject categories.

As part of our ongoing commitment to scientific excellence and international visibility, PST is refining its editorial evaluation process.

Effective from March 2026, submitted manuscripts will undergo enhanced editorial screening with particular attention to:

• Clear advancement of scientific knowledge
• Strong methodological and statistical rigor
• Engagement with recent and relevant international literature
• Broader applicability beyond localized observations
• Transparent reporting and ethical compliance

Manuscripts that are primarily descriptive, incremental in nature, or lacking sufficient analytical depth may not proceed to external peer review.

These refinements are intended to ensure that PST continues to publish impactful and globally relevant research.
