We are thrilled to announce that the International Conference on Sustainable Biotechnology & Bio-Innovations (SBB-2026) has partnered with Plant Science Today (eISSN: 2348-1900) to publish a Special Issue dedicated to the most groundbreaking research presented at this year's event.

Submission Guidelines
1. Eligibility: Authors must have presented their work (Oral or Poster) at SBB-2026.
2. Peer Review: All submissions will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process per the journal’s standard criteria.
4. Format: Please follow the PST's formatting style available on the author gateway.

Short Biography of the Guest Editors

Dr. (Mrs.) Susmita Shukla is a Professor at Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University, with over 25 years of experience in plant biotechnology research and teaching. Her expertise spans in vitro clonal propagation, embryo rescue, secondary metabolite screening, and genetic transformation of medicinal and economically important plant species. She has completed DBT-funded research projects, guided 4 PhD and 30+ Masters students, and published 47 research papers, 14 book chapters, and 2 books. She holds 5 patents, received numerous awards including the DBT-BioCARe Women Scientist fellowship, and has extensive national and international collaboration and training program experience.

Prof. (Dr.) Shiv Kant Shukla is Dean (Student Affairs) and Head of Innovation & Technology at Kaushalya: The Skill University, Gujarat. With over 25 years of experience spanning academia and industry, he holds qualifications in Biotechnology (M.Sc., Ph.D., MBA) and is a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP). He spent 17 years at Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL), managing landmark national programs including the Indo-Africa Plant Tissue Culture Project and NCS-TCP. He has facilitated licensing of 7 technologies, managed government projects worth over INR 25 crores, made 70+ publications, and delivered 45+ keynote addresses at national and international forums.

Prof. (Dr.) Rachana Singh is Professor and Head, Centre of Plant and Environmental Biotechnology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, with 25+ years of research and teaching experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University. Her research focuses on nanostructured composites, wastewater treatment, photocatalytic degradation, and pollutant remediation. She has an H-Index of 22, 52+ publications, 3 books, 14+ book chapters, and 7 patents (3 granted). She has guided 6 PhD scholars, 100+ PG, and 200+ UG students. She has received the Woman Excellency Award in Science (2022) and Environmentalist of the Year (2018).

Dr. Vivek Kumar Gaur is Assistant Professor at Amity University Noida, with expertise in Environmental Biotechnology and Metabolic and Bioprocess Engineering. He holds a PhD in Biotechnology (2021) from Amity University in association with CSIR-IITR, and completed postdoctoral research at Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), South Korea. He has authored 130+ publications including research papers, reviews, book chapters, and conference communications, along with 3 patents. He is recipient of the Young Researcher Award (2021) and APJ Abdul Kalam Best PhD Thesis Award (2023). He serves as Associate/Editor for journals including World Journal of Microbiology and Biotechnology and Archives of Microbiology.
