Impact factor for Plant Science Today

Plant Science Today has published 75 papers in 2014-15 and they were cited 34 times by other journals (as on 1 January 2016) as evidenced from  Google Scholar.

The formula to determine the 2016 impact factor for a journal would be calculated as follows:

A = the number of times articles published in the journal during 2014 and 2015 were cited by other journals during 2016.

B = the number of articles or reviews that were published in the journal during 2014 and 2015.

2016 Impact factor (IF) for a journal = A/B

Hence, the estimated 2016 IF for Plant Science Today = 34/75 = 0.45
