Lentil (Lens culinaris Medik.) is an important pulse crop increasingly affected by fusarium wilt in major lentil-growing regions of India, resulting in significant yield losses. This study aimed to develop an eco-friendly management approach for fusarium wilt using biological and organic treatments. Field trials were carried out consecutively during rabi 2022 and 2023 crop seasons in randomised block design (RBD) with 3 replications, using local variety. Results of the 2-year experiment revealed that, among the different treatments, soil application of farmyard manure (FYM) enriched with Trichoderma harzianum (100 : 1) at 500 kg/ha followed by seed treatment with T. harzianum at 10 g/kg of seed was the most effective in managing fusarium wilt. This treatment recorded the lowest mean disease incidence of 8.71 % and elevated yield of 7.61 q/ha. In contrast, the untreated check recorded a high mean disease incidence of 33.82 % with a very low yield of 3.27 q/ha. These findings demonstrate the potential of biological and organic treatments as effective eco-friendly strategies for managing fusarium wilt of lentil.
